Is there a Shiny Chimchar in Pokemon Go November Spotlight Hour 2021?

For the second last Spotlight Hour of November, we have Chimchar as the featured Pokemon for this week. Like always, players will see a lot more of Chimchar than they usually see when they venture out. As far as the timings of the event is concerned, it will take place at the usual 6pm to 7pm local time schedule.

Chimchar is a Fire type Pokemon, and was added in Generation 4. It hails from the Sinnoh region, and it evolves to Monferno first, and then eventually into Infernape. Fans of the anime might remember Infernape from its iconic battle with Electabuzz.

Coming to the most important part, the shiny status. Well, there is some good news. Chimchar does have a shiny variant in the game, and players will be able to find it during the Spotlight Hour, although there will be no increase in the spawn rates of the shinies.
